2004–2008 — Ambassador of the Russian Federation to New Zealand.
2008–2015 — Director of International Cooperation Department of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation «Rosatom».
Participated in numerous multilateral and bilateral talks on arms control, disarmament, nonproliferation, including Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, Russian-American agreements on nuclear weapons reductions, events at the UN, IAEA, Conference on Disarmament, international and bilateral summit and ministerial meetings.
