Dr. Troitskaya has been teaching in the undergraduate and graduate English-medium programs at MGIMO since 2018. She specializes in the psychology of decision making and its application to international politics.

Dr. Troitskaya holds an MA from University College London and a doctoral degree from Nizhny Novgorod State University. She has 10 years of experience teaching and researching international relations at the Russian Academy of Sciences and Lomonosov Moscow State University. Dr. Troitskaya has published in Russian and English on international migration, nationalism, and national self-determination.

Since 2020, Olga Troitskaya has directed the University Project Office, coordinating the implementation of MGIMO development strategy and participation of the university in the nation-wide academic excellence program, Priority 2030.

She is the founder and CEO of Icognito.app — an innovative cognitive-behavioral therapy and mental health application. Her article on couples therapy technologies has appeared in Family Process (Q1 Scimago).

At SGIA, Dr. Troitskaya teaches Cognitive Science and Decisionmaking to senior undergraduate students.
