Vladimir Zhdanov

Zhdanov Vladimir

Vladimir Zhdanov holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He also holds a Russian degree (Candidate of Sciences) in History, which was conferred on him for a dissertation devoted to the analysis of Western perceptions of Soviet economic policy, and an American doctoral degree in Political Science from the UMass-Amherst for his dissertation «Asymmetrical Devolution: Comparative Analysis of Italian and Spanish Regional Reforms». He was a Copeland Fellow at Amherst College and the recipient of the USIA Graduate Fellowship. For several years Dr. Zhdanov taught the courses in Comparative Politics, World Politics and Russian Politics at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
