Maria Shibkova

Dr. Maria Shibkova is a lecturer at the School of Government and International Affairs and a senior lecturer at the Department of Roman Languages. She holds a PhD in Political Science from MGIMO (2018), the thesis is «Euroscepticism in Italian Political Parties’ Foreign Policy». In 2015 she was awarded a Master’s Degree (Hons) in International Relations by MGIMO-University and in 2013 she earned a Bachelor of Regional Studies degree (Hons) also from MGIMO-University.
Main academic achievements:
- 2018 — winner of the MGIMO-University VIII Contest of Young Scientists;
- 2017 — winner of the Association of European Studies Contest of Young Researchers;
- 2016 — winner of the MGIMO-University IV Contest of Young Scientists.
