SGIA Graduation Day 2023
On July 7, MGIMO hosted a solemn ceremony of presenting diplomas to undergraduate graduates of the School of Government and International Affairs. Students from 11 countries of the world (Austria, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, India, Russia, Slovakia, Singapore, Turkmenistan, Turkey, France, South Korea) have successfully completed four years of their study in English.
The ceremony was attended by Director of the UN Information Center in Moscow V.V. Kuznetsov, Head of the UNHCR Office in the Russian Federation Karim Atassi, Head of the Department for Humanitarian Policy of the International Committee of the Red Cross (Regional Delegation in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus) Ruth Hetherington, Vice-Rector for Personnel Policy of MGIMO V.M. Morozov, Professor of the Department of Diplomacy O.V. Lebedeva and Dean of the School of Government and International Affairs A.K. Bobrov, who expressed their best wishes to the newly minted professionals. In turn, on behalf of the students, Amin Vogel (Austria) and Maria Yushvaeva (Russia) addressed the audience with response speeches.
Having become certified specialists, SGIA graduates have the opportunity not only to continue their education in various education programs of Russian and foreign universities, but also in the new master's program of our school "International Diplomacy and Political Regional Studies" which continues the acceptance of applications from all those who strive to receive the best English-language education of the international school of MGIMO.
